Raw Love

Recently Sainsbury's introduced me to the and I mean THE most delicious salad I've had in a long time, Edamame bean salad. So refreshing, so light, heavenly. So here share the love

Drroooool

The other thing that I was introduced to this year was raw food, in particular raw chocolate

and raw 'cheesecake'

Christmas

OK, so it's like October and you're thinking what the hell?! But I can't help it I am stupidly excited about Christmas. I do this every year. I see the cards and sweets and gift wrap in the shop and I just want to put my classic Christmas CD in the stereo and bake some mince pies.

Generally Christmas has not been as exciting as I hope for since I was above the age of about 13 but for me now it's all about the food. The moist turkey, pigs in blankets, crispy roast potatoes, sprouts and chestnuts *drool*...

So here are some Christmas recipes to get people salivating as much as me!

Unbelieveaby easy mince pies, guaranteed to be awesome:

Easy Christmas pud, I don't normally like Christmas pud but this was delicious when I made it

Good, tastey, not over done sprouts

I will also be posting some great homemade Christmas pressie ideas, at some point. Well you know me I say these things then disappear!

Merry Almost Christmas!

Eating myself better

Hello, well I should explain the reason I can blog at the moment is that I am laid on the sofa poorly sick, feeling a little sorry for myself as the boy is in Italy, it's just me and Gaga.

So I have been trying to think of easy things to cook to make me feel better, feed a cold and all that and quite fancy one of my favourite Chinese soups Crab and sweetcorn.

I also want my other favourite French onion soup

Followed by this cake from this months Sainsburys food magazine

If any of you want to just nip to Sheffield and make me these things that would be awesome, could you just grab a loaf of bread on the way too?  :)
